I recently hired Gulf Gate to upgrade the screens on my pool cage, repair several cage doors, and install a “billy bib” to make putting water the pool easier instead via my pool cage door which was damaged over the years by the hose going under the door. I also wanted repairs to my front screen door which had been worn out over time by numerous Amazon deliveries pre and post COVID😱. The entire experience with Gulf Gate was excellent from start to finish.
Jim handled my estimate and arrived right on time. He was extremely knowledgeable about pool cage construction and screening materials, and he explained everything he observed during his inspection. Gulf Gate provided three different bid options based on scope and price, all clearly laid out and very reasonable for the amount of work involved. In the end I chose to upgrade to all new polyester screens (with a 10 year warranty) in preparation for hurricane season, as well as hotter summers since my original fiberglass screens were over 12 years old and had been repeatedly damaged and replaced after numerous storms and high wind events over the years.
The crew arrived within the scheduled window and completed the work exactly as outlined in the bid. They worked efficiently, stayed focused on their tasks, and finished within the expected timeframe. Nothing was damaged, and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. At the end of the job, the supervisor walked me through everything to ensure it matched the estimate. The work area was cleaned thoroughly and left exactly as they found it.
Gulf Gate also made payment easy by offering several options, including check, credit card, or a third‑party payment service which is not often provided by some local contractors.
